ADVENTURE TOURS

Ecoglide Zip Lining in Arenal

You’ll feel just like a bird as you fly above the treetops of the rainforest near the Arenal Volcano on this canopy zip line tour – one of the coolest adventure sports ever! It is a perfect combination of adventure, nature, and adrenaline right at the base of the impressive Arenal Volcano.

We like to work with Ecoglide Arenal Park because they provide small group experiences, incorporate a second security cable and have multiple start times. Ecoglide offers the highest standards of security for zip lining in Costa Rica.

You’ll be geared up at the Ecoglide operations center with all the equipment you need to enjoy a safe and fun adventure, and will receive a safety speech to learn more about what you’ll be doing during the tour. From there, you’ll head to the first canopy platform in an off-road vehicle, and after that, you’ll take off flying!

The zip line platforms at Ecoglide are surrounded by primary rainforest and offer great 360-degree views! You will travel on a total of 13 exciting cables through this well-designed adventure park. The first cable is only 25 meters long, intended to help you feel comfortable with your gear and get you ready to enjoy the rest of your adventure. The thrill increases from cable to cable until you arrive at cable number 12 – the longest cable at an exciting 430 meters (over 1,200 feet)! Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to do a unique and exciting Tarzan Swing. You’ll love this part of the tour!

The Ecoglide canopy zip line guides go out of their way to show you different species of animals and plants — keep an eye out for deer, monkeys, snakes, sloths, frogs, peccaries, raccoons, and a huge variety of birds. These are just some of the animals that often appear during the tour as you enjoy panoramic views of the rainforest.

Zip lining in Costa Rica with Ecoglide is fun for everyone!

Rafting Balsa Class 2-3

Rafting is one of the most-popular activities to do in Costa Rica, and you can enjoy fun Class 2-3 rafting near the Arenal Volcano on the beautiful Balsa River. The Balsa River rafting tour is ideal for first-timers, families with children, all nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and people who are simply looking for a fun rafting adventure in Costa Rica.

We work with Desafio Adventures to operate this tour. They provide top-quality rafting gear, helmets, lifejackets, and paddles, and even a “paparazzi” photographer to catch the best shots during your adventure.

You will paddle down 10 kilometers of continuous, exciting rapids with names like “Congo Loco” and “Rock around the Croc”. Rafting in Costa Rica is a little different than other parts of the world because our rivers have steep gradients with lots of rapids and are a little more technical and shallow, which makes for a fun ride on your rafting trip. And the water is never ice cold!

During your trip down this beautiful river, you’ll see lush vegetation and different kinds of insects, birds and animals, which your eagle-eyed guides will point out along the way. About half-way through the trip, your guides will provide you with a snack of fresh tropical fruit on the river bank. When your rafting adventure is over, a traditional Costa Rican lunch will be served at a charming rural location.
