Monteverde Costa Rica is a pintoresque town located on the western slopes of the Tilaran Mountain Range.
Back in the 1950’s a group of quakers from different parts of USA, decided to turn Monteverde into their home. Among with local farmers, they have been showing how to use the environment to produce everything. This privately owned reserve is a model for the rest of the planet.
It is located at about 6000 f.a.s.l, and, this type of forest is commonly known as Cloud Forest.
