La Fortuna in San Carlos, Costa Rica is a beautiful town located on the eastern slopes of the Arenal Volcano. It’s population, to the present, is of about 12000 people.

All kind of services are found in La Fortuna: Banks, clinics, schools, etc. It is also the headquarters for transportation (public and private) to the most interesting destinations countrywide. A small airstrip is found outside the town, where several domestic flights to the beaches or San Jose are available year round.
